Darren moved to Anacortes WA from London and one of his firsts jobs was helping a friend remodel a home; Darren fell in love with building and working with his hands. He also enjoys the social aspect of meeting new clients along the way.

Darren’s son Alex joined the business about 10 years ago. Both Dad and son are proud to be operating a family-owned small business in the beautiful Skagit Valley.

Alongside running Bell Construction Services (formerly WADB), Darren was a soccer coach for Anacortes High School, Mount Vernon High School, Skagit Valley College, and Skagit Select Soccer.

It should be no surprise that in his spare time he enjoys watching soccer (football, really) his favorite team is Leeds United but he also roots for the Seattle Sounders. In his spare time he also enjoys hanging out with his wife and two sons and playing local pub trivia.

Serving the community is important to Darren. He is a longstanding Burlington Lion’s Club member and hosts bingo at the Mount Vernon Senior Center.
